Though we can’t be everything to everyone, team discovery focuses on full-time/permanent placements for the following job categories: Sales, management, administrative, accounting, legal, IT and nonprofit.
Recruiting: While there are many recruiters out there in the marketplace today, many of them are only interested in filling a job for their client. Whether the candidate is a solid fit for their client is not necessarily their concern. At team discovery, this is our only concern. We understand that the team you are creating can be the most important aspect of building a successful business. Team Discovery has a unique and time tested process for finding the best match for our clients and candidates alike.
Hiring: Your ability to effectively hire the right people for your business can mean the difference between success and failure in today’s tough economic climate. Without the right processes for interviewing, assessing, and on-boarding, many companies end up with the wrong people in key positions. At team discovery, we teach our clients the most effective ways to bring in candidates. This saves everyone time and provides a structure that can be internalized by our clients to get results long term.
On-boarding: In addition to helping our clients with all of their team building needs, team discovery assists in the on-boarding process for our clients. Many times there is no structure for a new employee, which can lead to underperformance. Team discovery believes that our client’s investment in a new team member must be protected. We teach our clients how to effectively on-board new candidates to help insure their retention and success in their new job.
Client assessment: Before a search begins we endeavor to gather as much information as possible by visiting our client’s office in order to spend a significant amount of time to interview, assess and uncover all we can about our new client and the details of the job. Without understanding the culture of the company and behaviors of the job it is very difficult to find the right fit for the position. As a search firm we are unique in that we invest this amount of time at a client’s office prior to beginning a new search. The team discovery process has been proven over time to save our clients time, money and wasted energy. We are successful at this by limiting time with the wrong or inappropriate candidates and respecting our client’s time by only presenting qualified candidates.
Candidate assessment: Before a new candidate is presented to our clients he/she must pass our rigorous 10 step evaluation. In addition to the traditional resume review and interviews, each candidate is assessed on values, behaviors and skill sets that directly relate to the compatibility of the candidate, the job match and company needs. By perfectly fitting the candidate and client together, team discovery eliminates the pain associated with bad hires and employee turnover.
